OAKLAND CONNECT
Oakland Connect is a partnership between The City of Oakland, #OaklandUndivided, Oakland Unified School District, and EducationSuperHighway to close the digital divide for at least 90% of Oakland’s 37,000 disconnected households by 2025.
Apply for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) and reduce the cost of home internet.
Close the digital divide by deploying free Wi-Fi in unconnected apartment buildings.
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a federal government program that provides a benefit of $30 per month for internet service and a one-time discount of $100 for a laptop, tablet, or desktop computer.
