EducationSuperHighway and the 1Million Project Foundation have teamed up to help San Francisco Bay Area school districts provide free high-speed Internet to students who lack access at home, and who are most impacted by the “Shelter in Place” mandate due to COVID-19.

This pilot will not only connect the 29% of SFUSD students who don’t have Internet access at home, and will also serve as the starting point for a playbook of lessons learned and practical solutions for addressing the comprehensive connectivity needs of students everywhere.
