How Compare & Connect K-12 Can Help Service Providers

This year, school districts seeking broadband upgrades are contending with the shortest-ever E-rate filing window, which means that there are just a few weeks left for service providers to find and bid on school district network services. Luckily, Compare & Connect K-12 can help. Compare & Connect K-12, a free school broadband comparison tool, has helped thousands of school districts prepare for their network upgrades. Now with new features, the tool can also help service providers find new business opportunities and better understand the needs of their current customers ahead of the March 22 E-rate Form 471 filing deadline.

Responding to feedback from the service provider community, we’re excited to share an improved search experience that makes Compare & Connect K-12 a one-stop shop for service providers to analyze the school connectivity landscape and find real, vetted leads.

New Features for Service Providers

  1. Enhanced map views highlight hundreds of school districts in need of an upgrade to the 100 kbps per student minimum bandwidth needed for digital learning.
  2. Powerful filters sort districts served by a specific provider, list qualified leads and provide links to filed FCC Form 470’s. That means you can see districts that have contracts expiring and those that have not yet filed an RFP.
  3. The new Circuit Cost Leaderboard shows best-in-state prices for Internet connectivity by circuit size. With the provider filters and pricing information, you can get a sense of what your competitors are doing, so that you can adjust your strategy to retain your current customers.
