The Affordable Connectivity Program

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a federal government program that offers eligible households up to $30/month toward home internet services, making certain plans FREE!

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Who Is Eligible for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)

ACP is a longer-term replacement for the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB). Your household qualifies for the Affordable Connectivity Program if it has an income at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines OR any member of the household:

Only one monthly service discount is allowed per household. The internet company will provide the discount to the consumer.

FAQs

There are three ways to apply:

  1. Contact your preferred participating broadband provider directly to learn about their application process.
  2. Visit www.ACPBenefit.org to submit an application or print out a mail-in application.
  3. Complete the application and Household Worksheet and mail them, along with copies of proof documentation, to:

The over 9 million households fully enrolled in the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program as of December 31, 2021, will continue to receive their current monthly benefit until March 1, 2022. The FCC will release additional guidance for households already enrolled in the EBB.
